EXTRA LONG! 25-32" Ostrich Spads (spadonnes) for Costuming, Hats, Centerpieces and Home Decor. Ostrich Spads are actually chick wing feathers from 1st year birds, so every feather is naturally molted. As a natural product, there may be some slight defects on some of the feathers, but overall they quite nice and very long. Though these are wing feathers, they do not have a rounded fluffy tip like what you would get with older, mature birds. All Ostrich Spads have a pointed tip.
